A H 1879Size: 41x 26
This tapestry was cut from the same grain sack numbered 44. Anton Hurler first put this sack into use in 1879 as it is stamped in the tar based stenciling. The beautiful across the top border of the leafy vine helps to connect the two tapestries. This half also shows the terrific skills of the day in the durable patchwork.
